Admitting

All patients will be admitted to the hospital through the admitting office, located on the second floor near the Information Desk.

Chapel

Our new Chapel is the focal point of Christ's healing ministry at St. James Healthcare. It is open to all and ALL ARE WELCOME!!! The chapel is located on the second floor of the hospital. The spiritual care staff visits with patients on a regular basis. If you want to speak with a chaplain or a member of our spiritual care staff, a member of the nursing staff will contact them for you.

Gift Shop

Our Auxiliary manages the St. James Healthcare Gift Shop located on the hospital's second floor. Gifts include flowers, cards, stuffed animals and novelty items. Hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. For more information, please call 406-723-2520.

Pharmacy

The St. James Healthcare Pharmacy generally does not fill prescriptions for the public when the community retail pharmacies are open. When the retail pharmacies are closed, our Pharmacy can fill prescriptions for our Emergency Department patients or for patients with special needs. After hours and on weekends, patients pay for prescriptions in the Emergency Department and take their receipt to the pharmacy for prescription pick up.

Prescription drugs are generally covered by a patient's prescription drug plan and not a health plan. Patients are responsible for payment of the prescriptions and will need to submit the bill for the prescription to their insurance company manually for reimbursement.

Pintler View Cafeteria

The Pintler View Cafeteria is located on the second floor of the hospital.

Hours for meals are:
Breakfast: 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Lunch:  11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Dinner:  4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Grille:   11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Smoking

St. James is a smoke-free facility. There are no smoking areas in the hospital or on the hospital campus.
