Imaging (Radiology) Services

St. James Healthcare Radiology Department offers inpatient and outpatient facilities designed to provide the highest quality imaging capabilities possible.

With a staff of approximately 40, the department performs a variety of radiological services, which include bone densitometry (bone density scanning), X-ray, CT scanning, fluoroscopy, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), mammography, nuclear medicine, ultrasound and stress echo cardiac imaging.

Our nuclear medicine equipment offers CT fusion technique, which is a technology only available in southwest Montana at St. James Healthcare. The ultrasound department offers a wide variety of vascular exams by accredited and nationally certified technologists.

With our PET/CT capabiliites, we have the latest, most advanced whole-body imaging technology that significantly enhances our diagnostic services. PET/CT is an invaluable clinical test for cancer, heart disease and neurological disorders.
