Montana Sports Medicine

In 1997, St. James Healthcare and Dr. Nick DiGiovine, Montana Orthopedics, collaborated to develop the Montana Sports Medicine Program. The program was created to provide all athletes and active adults in southwestern Montana with access to the highest quality healthcare.

Montana Sports Medicine is dedicated to the prevention, education, rehabilitation and treatment of injuries which reflects St. James Healthcare's commitment to the highest quality care available.

Our Sports Medicine Team has been providing services to Butte and southwestern Montana for over 14 years. Significantly subsidized by St. James Healthcare, the Montana Sports Medicine Team continues to provide quality health care to area schools by providing licensed athletic trainers, physicians and physical therapists.  Currently, the schools participating in the program include:

• Butte Central High School
• Butte High School
• Montana Tech
• Twin Bridges High School
• Anaconda High School
• Harrison High School
• Granite County High School
• Sheridan High School
• Ennis High School

Coverage is also provided for any local, divisional, state or regional athletic tournament.
